The international standard for testing-lab competence - the credential Amazon, the FDA, and retailers expect on a supplement COA.
ISO/IEC 17025 is the international standard for the technical competence of testing and calibration laboratories. When a lab is "ISO 17025 accredited," an independent accreditation body has audited its methods, equipment, and staff for the specific tests in its scope.
It matters because it's the baseline credential everyone downstream looks for: Amazon rejects COAs from non-accredited labs, and the FDA expects you to have qualified your lab. Critically, a lab can be accredited but not for every test - always confirm the exact method is listed in its scope of accreditation.
