Nebraska's only AAVLD-accredited veterinary diagnostic laboratory, the NVDC offers state-of-the-art testing for livestock, companion animals, and research. The Level I NAHLN member laboratory provides bacteriologic, histologic, molecular diagnostic, serologic, virologic, and toxicologic services. The 65,000 sq ft facility opened in 2017 with advanced disease surveillance capabilities.

University of Nebraska-Lincoln analytical laboratory opened in 1990, providing standardized and custom analytical testing for water, wastewater, and sediments for researchers and private sector clients. Performs 140 analytical methods on $3 million in equipment, supporting water quality assessments for agricultural, municipal, and environmental clients in Nebraska and the region.
