Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS)

The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services laboratory in Suffolk, Virginia is a USDA AMS approved mycotoxin testing laboratory providing aflatoxin analysis for peanuts destined for domestic US markets. The VDACS lab uses AOAC fluorometer and TLC methods and is approved under the USDA Laboratory Approval Program for Analysis of Mycotoxins to test Virginia's peanut crop for compliance with federal mycotoxin standards.
