S.A.MER. - Servizio Analisi Chimico Merceologiche - AZIENDA SPECIALE CCIAA DI BARI

S.A.MER. (Servizio Analisi Chimico Merceologiche) is a special agency of the Bari Chamber of Commerce and an Italian public laboratory accredited by ACCREDIA to UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025. It is part of the National Network of Chemical-Commodity Laboratories of the Italian Chambers of Commerce and is recognised by the Ministry of Economic Development as a 'Public Laboratory'.

The laboratory performs self-control analyses under the EU hygiene package, environmental analyses, agri-food testing, pesticide-residue analysis on fruit and vegetables, food microbiology, gemmological analysis and precious-metals analysis. It is authorised by the Ministry of Agriculture to analyse DOCG and DOC wines and DOP extra-virgin olive oils, giving producers in the agriculture, food-industry and environmental sectors a qualified and impartial testing partner.

As a chamber-of-commerce body, S.A.MER. combines accredited analytical reliability with consultancy for businesses, and publishes its analysis-request forms and service conditions for clients across its region.
